State Senator Liz Krueger already has a strong opinion about the Indian Point nuclear facility, but she wants to know what her fellow New Yorkers think. This week, the senator opened an online survey to find out where city residents stand on the controversial power plant that provides vital electricity to New York, but also has the potential to imperil millions of people in the event of a meltdown.

The plant is operated by a company called Entergy Corporation, and has been identified as a potential hazard for the greater New York area if a meltdown happened.
