Albany – This week, Senator Krueger, Senator Kaminsky, and 15 of their Senate Democratic Conference colleagues released a letter calling on Senate Majority Leader John Flanagan and Independent Democratic Conference Leader Jeff Klein to rescind the proposed delay of the Diesel Emissions Reduction Act of 2006.

Today, State Senator Liz Krueger, along with Senators Montgomery, Persaud, and Sanders, released a letter to the New York State Congressional delegation, urging them to oppose renewal of the EB-5 Visa Program. The EB-5 program allows individuals from other countries to “buy” a visa if they agree to invest $500,000 in a Targeted Employment Area. The program is frequently abused, and fails to make an impact in those areas for which it is ostensibly targeted.
